Furniture Questions

What do you mean by a "Lifetime Warranty"?
We warrant that the furniture you purchase directly from us will be free of defects in workmanship, material and construction. In the event that a defect is found, we will either repair or replace the defective item. If at any time while you own the furniture it breaks due to craftsmanship, we will repair or replace the item. This is where common sense comes in - our warranty basically covers anything except what is out of our control. The defective piece of furniture must be returned in order for a replacement or repair.
The following are not considered defects:
- Variations in gloss level, texture or appearance
- Natural variations in color or texture of the wood
- Damage caused by others, beyond our control (extreme weather, abuse, fire etc...)
- Discoloration or rusting of decorative or metal accent options
- Raised grain
- Damage caused by failure to comply with the Care of Solid Wood Furniture (see next question)
- Slight expansion or contraction due to temperature and humidity

How do I care for my furniture?
- Maintain a humidity controlled environment. Your home should be kept in the 35% - 45% range to prevent warping and or 'checking'.
- Keep the furniture out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources such as a furnace or fireplaces. Furniture should never be stored in attics or basements.
- Avoid placing sharp objects that could scratch the furniture directly on the furniture.
- Dust furniture often and carefully with a soft, clean cloth and follow the grain pattern when dusting to remove abrasive dust particles.
- Periodically clean the furniture with a mild, non-alkaline soap using a soft sponge or cloth
- Avoid polish that contains silicone.
When properly cared for, your solid wood furniture will be a timeless piece of beauty treasured for generations!

Can you do custom stain colors or match the furniture that is already in my home?
